World Malaria Day Medical Outreach in Bashar

Project Overview

To commemorate World Malaria Day 2025 under the global theme "Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite", ICIN Nigeria in strategic partnership with NASCO Group organized an extensive medical outreach in Bashar community of Wase LGA, Plateau State.

Over 800 beneficiaries — primarily vulnerable elderly people, pregnant women, and young children — accessed comprehensive free medical consultations, essential anti-malaria drugs, general health checkups, and Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs).

Outreach Deliverables & Health Services

• Free Medical Consultations: On-site diagnostic testing and consultation by volunteer doctors and nurses.
• Medication & Net Distribution: Dispensing prescribed antimalarial medications, vitamins, and treated mosquito nets.
• Hygiene & Environmental Sensitization: Community education on mosquito breeding site reduction and sanitation.
